Hi, As far as I know, a user may not change his TCP/IP settings if it meets one of the following: 1. Logon a computer as a standard user. 2. You have setup a domain and set the proper group policy settings. You can also refer to the similar thread: GPO Disable user change IP Address. Hope this helps. Jeremy Wu TechNet Community Support

Hi, You can lock down your TCP/IP settings using a local security policy on the computer without the need for a Domain Controller. Click Start > Run > Type in: gpedit.msc and press enter Select: User Configuration Select: Administrative Templates Select: Network Select: Network Connection You will see the various options available. Depending on your OS, the option may be called "Prohibit access to properties of components on a LAN connection" You can edit your policy to taste and save your settings. The only drawback is you will need to do this individually on each PC, to automate the process you will need a domain controller with GPO set up (or you can create a script but this would be very advanced.) Kind Regards, MartinIf you find my information useful, please rate it. :-)
