Can you ping in the other direction (.6 to .5?) Do you have File and Printer Sharing enabled on both?-B- http://www.officeforlawyers.com Author: The Lawyer's Guide to Microsoft Outlook

Sony VAIO laptop: 192.168.1.5 (Win7 64 Home Premium) WiFi Connection HP laptop: 192.168.1.6 (Vista 32 home) Wired connection Norton360 v4.0 running in both machines (firewall on) D-Link DSL-2407B: 192.168.1.1 By connecting my Vista computer via wire to DSL-2407B router I was able to ping and share networks for both directions Now the issue seems to be in D-Link DSL-2407B router or Windows 7 driver NetMonitor showed ARP REQ from 192.168.1.5 to 192.168.1.6 (from Windows 7 computer), but no response So it seems that D-Link has a routing problem, but what can I do ? It has latest firmware...

Hi, Do you have another wireless router can be used to test the issue? I would like to suggest you install the latest version of the wireless network card driver, temporarily disable Norton and Windows Firewall to check the result. Regards, Arthur Li - MSFT
