Pick Up Inbound Phone Call Through Lync
From the tutorial videos and lessons, it shows that a user can set up their office phone and cell phone in Lync to display calls on the PC as they are recieved on either one. You can also pick the call up or decline. It doesn't show, though, how to set it up. Could some one pass on some notes on how to do so? Thank you.

Hi

You need to route / fw your call to your Lync extension (SIP URI). (Simply fw the calls after XX seconds to <<Lync phone number>>)

Office desktop phone systems can support the feature of dual call appearance or forking, where one endpoint will be Lync. This requires complex configuraiton on your PBX though.

The other way is much easier and supported neatly: having a call ending on Lync endpoint (PC, Lync hardphone, etc) can simul ring one other device (mobile, any other landline number). Any and user can set it up in a full featured desktop Lync client.

I hope that helps,

R
