So yesterday I turned on my computer which is connected to my TV as a monitor so I did not get to see the start up process. After a couple minutes I switched the input to the computer and am greeted with the BSOD with error message: "a process or thread crucial to system operation has unexpectedly exited or been terminated It recommended restarting and if it persisted to remove any new hardware and BIOS memory options like caching. Stop: 0x000000F4 (0x00000000000000003 , 0xFFFFFA80126E4B30, 0xFFFFFA80126E4E10, OxFFFFF800031CC8B0) Collecting data for crash dump... intitalizing disk for crash dump.. beginning dump of phhysical memory. Dumping physical memory to disk: 100 " I had used the computer the day before with no issues and have not installed any new software or drivers of any kind. On restart I received the same message. On another restart when attempting to start in safe mode, I received the same message. When i entered startup repair it restarted the computer a couple times and eventually came up with the message that startup repair cannot automatically repair this problem. I then used Windows Restore and restored the pc to a 1/3 date when it had been working fine. I received the same BSOD on startup right after the windows logo is on the screen and before my profile appears. About two weeks ago I was getting a BSOD on bootup where i determined that my boot disk wasnt detected, so I followed some instructions to enter my RAID utility and remove the acceleration on my cached drive which fixed my problem. I thought that my problem might be connected to that again so I repeated those steps but still receive the bsod memory dump. I checked my BIOS and I think everything is correct. On the integrated peripherals page extreme hard drive (xhd) is set to disabled and PCH SATA Control mode is set to RAID(XHD) and everything else is enabled. The hard Disk Boot Priority is: 1. SCSI-0 : ST31000524AS 2. Bootable add-in Cards quick boot is disabled. first boot device is CDrom and second and third are Hard Disk. On my RAID utility screen it shows: RAID volumes: ID 0 Volume_0000 RAID0(cache) strip128kb size 29.8gb status available Bootable: No. Then my physical devices: port 0 ST31000524AS size 931.5GB Non-Raid Disk Port 1 Kingston SV100S2 size 29.8GB Cache Disk(0) I include this because that was where i had an issue a couple weeks ago and i didn't know if I needed a bootable RAID volume. I have also tried to boot using a windows recovery disc. After hitting "repair your computer" it asks me to select an operating system to repair with windows 7 being the only option. When selecting that I get the error message " This version of system recovery options is not compatible with the version of Windows you are trrying to repair.
