Persian Fonts
Hi! I have Windows 7 Home Premium and have installed the Persian keyboard, but am having issues. I am using different Adobe CS4 software that I'd like to use Persian fonts and calligraphy, but most of the ones available for download online are only compatible with Windows Vista and prior. Nevertheless, I still downloaded some and saw that a few out of maybe 100 are working but the rest aren't. What I'd like to know is how I can get these to work, or if there is some kind of advanced font manager that can assist Windows with resolving my little dilemma. Any help will be great. Thanks! Madi

This is what I found. I am going to install or upgrade to Windows 7. How will this affect my Creative Suite 4 products? If you are upgrading to Windows 7 from an earlier Windows version, you may be required to reinstall your Creative Suite product. For detailed instructions regarding the requirements for possible reinstallation of your Creative Suite products and components, see the Knowledgebase article.MCSE, MCSA, MCDST [If this post helps to resolve your issue, please click the "Mark as Answer" or "Helpful" button at the top of this message. I bought the computer with 7 on it already...the issue it's giving me is regarding compatibility I believe. I don't have any issues with CS4, only the font recognition by windows. :) Madi

Ok, now I see where I'm confused :) the Persian keyboard just didn't make sense to me, so far I only found it supports Windows 2000 and XP http://www.microsoft.com/middleeast/arabicdev/farsi/wPaper.aspx and I found the install for Office 2003. I think your best best is to uninstall and reinstall it in XP compatibility mode and try it. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/w7itproappcompat/thread/cdd894f8-1ee2-43e5-952b-d04c25779a7fMCSE, MCSA, MCDST [If this post helps to resolve your issue, please click the "Mark as Answer" or "Helpful" button at the top of this message.
