Permanently remembered password? (bug?)
I have a networkshare on a little NAS appliance that I cannot reset the password on for the life of me. I'm wondering if there is a "hidden" locaton for cached passwords I'm missing or if I've run into some kind of odd bug.Basically:If I attempt to connect to my NAS via UNC I get an access denied message. If I connect via IP it opens the share perfectly fine. If I decide to get clever and add username/password requirements to the share (and make them equal to my local logon for pass-through authentication) then Windows 7 opens the share perfectly fine by UNCTypically this means it's cached credentials for that share, but for the life of me I can't find them. I dropped ot a command prompt and tried net use .... nothing present. I then went into the password vault ("credential manager") and looked for the UNC listing .. its empty. As the Coup De Gras I turned on a laptop which is also running Windows 7 and got into the share via UNC perfectly fine. So now I'm really certain there's a cached credential somewhere .... but for the life of me I can't find it.Is there another location someone can think of pointing me to? It's not critical obviously (I can get in via IP) but it's certainly annoying.

Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear but here's what I tried so far:1. net use from the command prompt (both normal and elevated privelages)2. Manage Windows Credentials from Control PanelThose are the only two sources I know to check. I guess I'm asking if there are more?
