I have Windows XP Shared computer under 'Workgroup" and new Windos 7 64 bit laptop. my all computer on peer to peer network can see all computer under 'Workgroup" but Windows 7 laptop can not see any computers or the shared files.
I have windows 7 32 bit machine and it works fine and see all machine and shared files including Windows 7 64bits laptop. WIndows 7 64 bit laptop can see windows 32 bit machine too.

Hi,
Thanks for posting in Microsoft TechNet forums.
I understand your problem: Windows 7 64bit cannot see any PC with Windows XP or shared files under workgroup, but can see PC with Windows 7 32 bit.
Can you visit Windows XP folders by using
\\hostname\share or
\\ipaddress\share?
Try to temporally disable firewall on both Windows XP and Windows 7.
