Peer Networking Services
Hello i experience Problems with the Homegroup. I cannot use it at all. Troubleshooter tell me Peer Networking Grouping services isnt running. I open services.msc There are 3 Peer Networking Services. First is Peer Networking Indentify Manager. It is running and cannot be stopped. Second is Peer Name Resolution Protocol. It is not running and cannot be started (Error 0x80630801: 0x80630801) Third is Peer Networking Grouping. It is not running and cannot be started (Error 1038: The Dependency Service or Group failed to start.) What is wrong with Peer name Resolution Protocol? How can i get it to work?

I have the same problem, I think it is causing my Xbox360 to not connect to media center.

My problem has been solved. I have build a new system, and it was the first installation of windows. At a later time i noticed that my RAM was not running stable in unganged mode(default) , so i had to switch it to ganged mode. After reinstalling windos it worked flawlessly. I assume the service was broken due to some bit error.

I am only running one gig in windows 7, you think this may be the problem? I do have 2 gig on the way to upgrade to. Any other help would help, I really like to play my music and movies through the Xbox. Thanks.
