Peculiar network problem
I'm running windows 7 home premium genuine and I have some really weird issues with http networking. I'll list some examples. 1. I have tried to host an apache server, and when trying to access the sites, it only serves partial broken website (no JS, CSS) with just the barebone html. 2. I have tried to stream an mp3 using VLC through http, VLC uses httpd, and although on VLC it says that my stream is up and running, nobody can access the stream, over the network or localhost, as accessing the stream only gives me http/1.0 404 not found. this problem is very specific to this version of Windows 7, as I have no problems doing all that on my older computer with windows XP. I have no firewall installed and windows firewall is not blocking any software I have mentioned. But i have to say that I've disabled windows defender service long time ago, does that also disables some http functions for protection? please advice.

Hi, Did these issues occur to all browsers? What is the result in Safe Mode with networking? If issues persist in Safe Mode, it would be related to the configurations of third-party software, you need contact the Apache Software Foundation for further help: The Apache Software Foundation!
