Pasting Screenshots in MS Paint Windows 7 Version.
Hello everyone! I have only just started using Windows 7 and I have a question about Microsoft Paint. It is supposed to be one of the simpler programs to use but I am unable to figure out how to post a screenshot. Usually in older versions of Paint I would bring up the picture needed and then press the "prt src" key. After that, I would simply open a fresh document in Paint and right click and select "Paste". This time however nothing happens when I right click and I have been unable to find cursor select feature. I am probably overlooking something simple but for the life of me I cannot find what I am doing wrong. I looked in the "Home" taskbar but the "Paste" option is unusable. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Why don't you use the snipping tool instead?"A programmer is just a tool which converts caffeine into code" CLIP- Stellvertreter http://www.winvistaside.de/

Probably because I do not know what the snipping tool is. As I said I am new to this version of Paint and frankly I hardly used the older versions as well. EDIT: Alright so I figured out what the snipping tool is and it will do. I still find it odd that the clipboard feature on Windows 7 versions of Paint are initially unaccessable.

simply press CRTL+V to paste the data or use the snipping tool."A programmer is just a tool which converts caffeine into code" CLIP- Stellvertreter http://www.winvistaside.de/
