Password Protect Microsoft Diagnostics and Recovery Toolset (MSDart) boot disk?
MSDart are a great set of tools, but we are worried about those tools being used by some one who should not have access to them. Is there any way to Password protect the boot disk? (Verification by LDAP)

I would not advise it, if you are looking to secure them, one method I use that is helpful to admins, is to tape the set for that server inside the server chassis itself. Look at physical security.
The other option is to look at something like those high dollar "lockable USB drives" with the combo lock on them.:P Advice offered, If you need more help it is advised to seek the council and advice of paid professionals. The answer is always 42, or reboot.

Hi,
To protect a drive in Windows 7, try to use BitLocker:

As Alex pointed out, you can use BitLocker to protect a volume from unauthorized access. But you may not want to encrypt the entire
C: or a physical volume for some reason - it may be too large or may not have a lot of mission critical information.
So here's what I would propose:
Create a fixed size Virtual Hard Disk (VHD) on your WinRE partition (of about the size of MSDart tools + 2GB)
Place all your MSDart tools in the VHD Encrypt this VHD using BitLocker Drive Encryption
This will ensure that you will not need to encrypt the whole volume and will just ensure that the MSDart tools are protected from unauthorized access using encryption. This would be the best way I suppose.
Here's how to create a VHD:
