I turned my laptop offl ast night and it did a update and then shut down today I tried to log on and it will not let me enter mypassword.I am using another computer right now and it let me enter it here?????

Make sure the cap lock key is not ON.  

or Did you receive any error code or messages when the password was not accepted?

When you click the option I'm not <<username>, this option helps to keep the local account. This will retain the local account configuration.

Hi D Mongar,

I am supposing you mean the system wont let you enter your password, not password incorrect.

Please tell us more details about your issue

How many windows user accounts are listed in the windows login page?

When you click on accounts pictures, does anything happens, or nothing happens?

Press Tab to switch between user accounts and then press enter see if that shows the password.

Boot your system to safe mode see if you could login properly. If you could, delete your account password then check the issue again.

If it is possible we recommend you perform a system restore by using DVD media or repair Disk to the earlier time point.

Warm reminder: If you can't start (boot) your PC, follow these instructions to get to the Windows Recovery Environment or safe mode by using a DVD media or USB flash drive.
