Partitions not showing up???
Ok, i have got both Windows 7 and Windows XP in 64bit operating systems on Seperate partitions and, i cannot see all the partitions in Windows 7 'my computer' but can see them in disk management. However if i boot into Windows XP everything is as it should be, all partitions appear!!! i'm baffled as i made no alterations to any of my O/Ss and i would like to see all my partitions in my computer under Windows 7! Any help???Abdul Azim

Yes, the Windows 7 partition has a drive letter assigned to it. When i right click the un lettered partitions under disk management in Windows 7 the feature assign drive letters to the un lettered partitions i do not get the option assign a letter to it as its greyed out, which means the partition could be messed up which mean i have to back up all my date and recreate the partitions :-( which isnt very inviting on a terabyte drive! i have too much data to back up!Abdul Azim

I asked if the XP partition had a drive letter. Does that mean NO it does not. Are you logged in as an administrator on the Windows 7 system?Regards, ~G MCSE, MCDST, MCITP, MCTS, MCP, CCNA
