Hi Friends,

I am getting issues while accessing the page from IE 11.0.9600 in Windows 8.1. After login i can see the page without issues, but when i try to scroll the page the alignment of the page got damaged. I tried to use the latest java run-time environment but no joy. I tried the same with Windows 7 and the page is working fine.

Please help. Is there any know compatibility issues with Windows 8 or IE 11?

Only this specific webpage suffered this issue ?Did this isse occur before or when did this issue begin to occur ?

First of all ,please ensure the Windows 8 machine has got the latest updates and then take the following steps to have a check .
1.Clear the cache to have a check
Tools\Safety \Delete Browsing History
2.Open the Internet Explorer without add-ons to verify whether it is caused by the add-ons:
Run "iexplore.exe -extoff" .

If the issue disappeared ,we can enable the add-ons one by one to capture the culprit.

3.Reset the Internet Explorer 11 to get an original settings to have a check.

We are facing this issue while accessing Siebel CRM which is a web application.

While scrolling the Siebel pages in IE11 in Windows 8.1 , the pages are seen to be distorted.

This distortion doesnt happen in Windows 7's IE11.

We are using the same version of IE in both Operating systems.

Have you tried to update all the Windows8.1 machines ? Have you tried to reset the Internet Explorer 11 to have a check ?

Considering this is third party web application ,it is also recommended to ask for help from the application developer .They are more familar with this application and they may have more resources to help resolve this issue .

This Siebel Web Application makes use of ActiveX control functionality which is not present in IE11 , and therefore this IE11 browser is actually mentioned by Oracle as not fully supported.

But , most of the times , it has worked for us in IE11.

Only problem is its dependency with the OS -- 

Works in IE11 of Windows 7 perfectly , whereas , 

Faces issues while working in IE11 of Windows 8.1 (Had also tried resetting to the default settings of IE too).

Is the ActiveX listed in the Internet Explorer 11of Windows 7 machines ?

Since this application is not fully supported by IE 11 ,it is recommended to contact the application developer for support .
However ,we can try the compatibility view to have a check.
Tools \Compatibility View
Or Press F12 and then choose the mode to view with a older version to have a check.
