PPTP VPN : The error code returned on failure is 720.
When I try to connect to themy VPN server with Windows 7 RC, MS ISA 2006 on Windows 2003 server MS RAS enabled, I get the following error Error 720. In the eventlog the following entrys show when I try and make the connection: CoId={EFBF5C6F-3A98-4A8F-AC68-0BBC18FD928F}: The user ****\***** is trying to establish a link to the Remote Access Server for the connection named **** using the following device: Server address/Phone Number = ***.**.***.*** Device = WAN Miniport (PPTP) Port = VPN3-1 CoId={EFBF5C6F-3A98-4A8F-AC68-0BBC18FD928F}: The user ****\***** has successfully established a link to the Remote Access Server using the following device: Server address/Phone Number = ***.**.***.*** Device = WAN Miniport (PPTP) Port = VPN3-1 MediaType = VPN. CoId={EFBF5C6F-3A98-4A8F-AC68-0BBC18FD928F}: The link to the Remote Access Server has been established by user****\***** CoId={EFBF5C6F-3A98-4A8F-AC68-0BBC18FD928F}: The user ****\***** dialed a connection named ***** which has failed. The error code returned on failure is 720.I can see the connection get established but when it gets to registering computer it fails. With Vista and exaclty the same setting the connection work 100%. I'm using MS Chap v2 in both cases at the protocol.

Hi AllI managed to solve the problem. I did a repair/reinstall and all working now.
