PCs won't connect to WPA Enterprise
I have about 18 PCs at the college where I work that won't connect to the WAP efficiently. They have wireless NIC cards installed to connect to the WAP. The NIC cards are Linksys, but I'm not sure of the model number. I'll get that later today. The WAP is configured with WPA Enterprise. I've been told that it is configured right. Only an administrator can change the settings. I am an entry-level tech. I have looked at the properties. It appears to be configured right. Also the wireless connection manager appears to be configured right. These PCs are frozen with Faronics Deep Freeze. They are on a domain with a couple thousand students with limited access to the network. If the profile is in the PC, like 'image' for instance or my profile, then the PC will connect to the WAP at login. If the profile isn't in the PC then the error message at login say that "no servers are available". These PCs don't connect to the WAP with 'default profile'. Last night I had 18 students in a class for computers that couldn't login to the network because the PCs won't connect to the WAP. Any tips?christopher donals

My boss says this problem was because the DHCP server was down overnight. What do you think?christopher donals

Hi, I do not think so, it is because you can get proper IP address but the Standard Users who do not have local profile. Maybe the policies apply to User Configuration rather than Computer Configuration, so this happened. Please check it. I think there was a problem with the certs. Since we got new certs a few months ago, there haven't been many problems connecting to the secure network that has WPA Enterprise.christopher donals
