PC randomly waking from sleep (since Windows 10 PREPARATION updates last month)
Hello,

So since last month, when the PREPARATION updates for Windows 10 started rolling, my PC with MSI Z97 PC mate started randomly turning itself on from sleep with reasons in eventvwr.msc as either:
Unknown
or most often
Intel eXtensible Controller (by the way I suspect Microsoft is doing some Hardcore spying - by injecting something some Code into the Motherboard-similairly as the KEYS for Windows 10).

Of course, windows was reinstalled 4(!) times, BIOS reflashed (3 times) and still the same thing is happening.
Of course also - fiddled with ALL the settings in there - Disabled all wake on LAN - disabled boot / wake by ethernet, tried switching Wake mode from OS to BIOS, and vice versa - NOTHING helped.

This all started last month, shortly after I tried installing the updates that were prior to Windows 10 (which shouldnt be any problem, since the system was allready reinstalled 4 times, and in addition 3 times it was installed on Windows 10).

By the way I would like to write some interesting suspicion - When I was doing these reinstalls, I had installed completelly CLEAN install of Windows 8.1 and noticed that there are some bugs - that were fixed in the updates (such as Text displaying in different language on the locksreen in Windows), that I decided JUST TO CHECK for the updates, and WITHIN SECONDS the Get Windows 10 update was installed, EVEN THOUGH I JUST SET IT TO CHECK FOR UPDATES AND LET ME CHOOSE TO DOWNLOAD, IT AUTOMATICALLY CHANGED ITSELF TO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL AUTOMATICALLY, which I realized after the updates were there.

And the internet is just full of people who seem to have the same problem...

They are disabled in bios and ARE NOT the problem, since problem happened EVEN WHEN ALL USB Devices were DISCONNECTED FROM THE PC and the PC had only the power cable and Ethernet plugged in, and was put to sleep by Teamviewer.

Also, the BIOS setting dissables the USB devices, and had tried all settings - Wake by OS, wake By BIOS, etc..

Ok, so knowing that MS is doing some pretty sophisticated exploitation techniques here (to get as many ppl on to Windows 10) - I know they must just be screwing the bios somehow.

That is why I installed Windows 10 an some days ago- so far it hasnt booted itself when entering to sleep FROM Windows 10. (i installed it in dualboot now - split SSD).

The problem seems to be this - it seems that Windows 10 install (or maybe even the pre updates, since the problem appeared, BEFORE I even installed Windows 10)-creates some sort of a new(?) bootloader, that tricks the bios pretty badly. - So : After installing Windows 10, the system boots to a menu - and IF YOU DO NOT CHOOSE WINDOWS 10 (you choose Windows 8), then THE SYSTEM RESTARTS, and boots COMPLETELY again, and then only boots into Windows 8. But if you choose Windows 10 it contiues to boot into 10, without rebooting. So perhaps this is the problem?

edit: Also, the Blue Windows logo is SMALL - when waking from sleep / hybernation, and is normal (full VGA driver size), ONLY when booting normally(not from sleep/hybernation)...

Before switching to windows 10 and before having reinstalled - it was big size normal all the time.

Ok, so the problem got fixed by replacing (adding) the Windows 10 bootloader instead of 8 > that is by INSTALLING windows 10 [on a second partition, and dualbooting=replaces the Bootloader(like when Windows 7 is installed first, and then 8)], but even then I decided to delete Windows 10, and just keep this 8.1 for now.
