PC joined domain but now the user account that was used to configure the PC is getting locked out.
I built a XP Pro SP3 workstation and joined it to our domain. The workstation has several applications installed, including Office 2003 and an ODBC connector to a SQL database, and several apps that use the ODBC connector (just giving information here). For a reason I have not been able to pin down, the account I used to install all the applications, is now being locked out regardless of what user is currently logged onto the w/s. If I shut the workstation down, my account is not locked out. Event logs on the domain controller give the following information:Failure eventLogon attempt by: MICROSOFT_AUTHENTICATION_PACKAGE_V1.0Logon account: {the account that gets locked out}Error Code: 0xC0000234I haven't come across enough of a description of what: MICROSOFT_AUTHENTICATION_PACKAGE_V1.0 is so I'm looking for some help here. Thanks in advance, Bill1 person needs an answerI do too

Check under Control panel for any stored (cached) credentials.http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306992The "control userpasswords2" >Advanced method is generally the easiest.
Free Windows Admin Tool Kit Click here and download it now
