PC/Printer on different networks
I am trying to install a wireless printer. I am getting an error that the printer and my PC are on different networks. I am not sure how this happened. How can I fix this?1 person needs an answerI do too

On the PC, do: Start>Run>cmd [enter] (the command prompt opens) ipconfig /all [enter] We are looking for the IP address of whichever network adapter you are using to connect to the Internet and Local Area Network and the IP address of the gateway. These will be private IP addresses (ex. 192.168.1.12) so you don't need to be fearful about posting them. Then on the printer use its menu options to print out the network settings. Again, we want to know what the printer's IP address is and what gateway it's using.MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!
