Outlook on Windows 7 Hang
Since this week which is also a coincidence for patch week, i have 3 users with Windows 7 who are experiencing problems starting Outlook (2 Outlook 2003 and 1 Outlook 2007). When you fire up Outlook it will just be on hour glass.-The user with Outlook 2007 has Ultimate. Tried repair, uninstall reninstall Outlook, uninstall Office and reinstall but no luck. Did system restore only after office reinstallation. The only available is Monday with comments patch was installed. System restore did not help.-The second user with Windows 7 Pro and we were able to use system restore to get it going. The restore point used was Firday of last week. Before doing system restore, created a new logon profile and did not help.-The third user was with Windows 7 Pro and did the same as the first user. He does not have enough restore point before this week.I been thinking to post this in Office group but it may seem it is Windows 7?Anybody, please help!ThanksTaga

There are pst's on the profile, however, i logged on with a anothert account on the same system and created anew profile and can't even proceed. Microsoft Outlook is not responding, checked for solution online and it goes in motion and then disappears. Start Outlook again and ask whether to run in safe mode or not. Either option will show the Outlook shell and with logo and hour glass. This is the same behaviour for all three windows 7 systems. I haven't heared from windows xp users. Thanks

I thought about posting this in Outlook but we did not have any problems reported with Windows XP machine, so i ruled out that it is probably related to Windows 7 as only windows 7's are affected. Anyway, thanks.
