Outlook Express Icons Missing
I have an older version of Windows XP (32bit) which works fine for my needs. Just this week all of the icons on Outlook Express disappeared (reply, forward, delete, print, etc.) I went into the Files, Edit etc tabs but there was nothing that would give me back the icons. Was this part of an auto update? How can I get them back?? - I miss them!1 person needs an answerI do too

I have looked at the info on the site but to my limited computer knowledge it was foreign. It is talking about the getting to the GUID number. I looked under file>identities>Manage ID but there was no numbr listed. How do I get to the GUID number? How do you get to the "reset toolbar values in registry". Also what is Regedit? I am supposed to right click on this? Sorry, my knowledge is weak when I have to get inside the files! Any help is appreciated! I appreciate your patience!IF/ When I get this fixed, how can I avoid a reoccurance? Was it a spyware or bug?

This will probably be easier and it is essentially what you will end up doing.File | Identity | Add New Identity. Create a new one and test it. If all is well, you can import your messages and Address Book from the old identity and delete it.Note: Do not use the word Main in the name of the new identity. How to Create and Use Identities in Outlook Expresshttp://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=209169Bruce Hagen ~ MS-MVP [Mail]Imperial Beach, CA
