Have you checked the profile settings under mail settings in control panel? Open mail settings and check the listed email profiles and delete the unnecessary profile

Hi, Based on my research, this problem may be caused by Google sync add-ins was disabled in Outlook. Please try following steps to enable it. 1. Open Outlook 2010. 2. Move to Options -> Add-ins->COM Add-Ins, click Go. 3. Find out Google sync related add-ins, and enable it. Please understand, this forum mainly focus on Windows 7. You probably solved this by now, but in case anyone else has the same problem: Go to Mail Setup (the one found in Control Panel), Outlook has to be closed to apply these settings. Open Control PanelOpen Mail in Control PanelUnder Profiles: Select - Show ProfilesSelect Radio Button - Always Use this Profile (Outlook - in Drop Down) Problem solved =)

I tired both these settings, and neither one nor together did it resolve the problem. It seems that keeping Outlook open is the only way. And in any case, I have only one profile.
