Outlook 2007 Meeting Reminders
A small complaint/question, but one that will undoubtedly lead to me being late for meetings if I don't find a solution.Outlook 2007 running on XP -> Meeting reminders would pop up above any other window that was currently open, no chance of missing the reminder.Outlook 2007 running on W7 -> Meeting reminders pop up above the outlook window, but below any other window that is currently open, the tab on the taskbar blinks but I generally don't notice it for a few minutes. Is there a way to get back the behavior from XP? or a setting i can change in W7 that will make the reminders more obvious?

Perhaps the following KB article will help with your issue: Outlook Calendar and Task reminders do not appear as expectedCarey Frisch

Thanks for the quick response Carey but that article doesn't help I'm afraid. It's not a problem with the reminder not firing, it does get fired, it's just that it is not visible if I have another window open, for instance if I am working on a Word document and the meeting reminder goes off, it is "displayed" below the Word window so I cannot see it.Previously in XP the reminder window would have been bubbled up and displayed above the Word window so I could see it.
