Outlook 2003 stopped requesting password. PST data file HAS a password set, but Outlook is ignoring it, opening without prompting. How do I fix that?
Outlook 2003 normally requests username/password upon opening, because I set a password on the default Outlook.pst file. It's been doing that for over a year. Recently I noticed it has stopped doing that. It opens the PST file without requesting password, which is a security breach for me. I've google'd, and searched this forum, butcan't find how to fix it. I thought maybe the AutoComplete passwords function of IE 7 might have something to do that, so I Delete'd all stored form data, but that didn't make a difference. I don't even know if this is related or not. Please advise, thanks!1 person needs an answerI do too

Control panel --> mail --> profile -> setup -> change password -> uncheck .The next time you open Outlook, uncheck "save password" too.Take me 1 hr to google out.
