Outlook 2003 XP Pro - Contacts problem
I imported a number of contacts from my business Outlook program to my Home Outlook program. Since I did not enter all of these Contacts, some had error in their names, email addresses, etc., that needed to be changed; so I did.My problem is that although their Contact changes show up as having been saved, when they show up in the 'Address Book' they continue to show as they were originally entered; errors and all. So, I deleted them from the Address Book, did a restart and hoped the new, corrected version would have replaced the old, incorrect version. WRONG.. They just don't show up[ at all.Question 1 - How can I fix this problem?Question 2 - How can I add a Contact to the Address Book?Thanks...1 person needs an answerI do too

Outlook's Address Book is just a vew of the Contacts folders you're using where the contacts have email addresses or fax numbers. Never manipulate contacts using the Address Book interface. It can have unexpected side-effects.If I were in your shoes, I'd use the Mail applet in Control Panel to remove, then re-add the Outlook Address Book service.Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook]------------------------------If a reply helps, please vote it as helpful.
