Outbox stuck on Outlook 2007
I am using Outlook 2007 on XP and I have some emails stuck in the outbox. I tried out a few different settings connecting to the server with a normal connection, an SSL one, TLS. SSL did not work but the normal one and TLS works when I click the "Test connection" button. But the emails in the Outbox folder are still there. I just installed the Service Pack 2 for Office 2007 but the problem persists. In most of my efforts I don't get an error message. One time I did get an error message it said that it timed out the connection to the SMTP server. When I try all these things with Outlook Express everything works normally. The Test Account works. How can Outlook not work? I am also trying to remove the messages from the outbox folder but the system does not allow me to do that because it says that it is sending them. I click the cancel buttons, it still complains with the same message. Has anyone come to this sort of problems before? Is there a way to dig deeper into the communication log to see what could be wrong here?4 people need an answerI do too

See here for 3 methods of removing stuck mail http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/messagestuckinoutbox.htmYou cannot fiddle with your account settings, unless your ISP supports the setting you have selected. If you have integrated Anti Virus in Outlook that can be the cause of many issues. Integration does not give any better protection as nasties would be detected by the real time scanner. If you do have integrated AV, uninstall that AV, if symantec, use the utility on their web site to completely remove.Reboot the PC, reinstall the AV without the outlook integration. Then update your virus deffinitions.Another cause is having to short an auto send/receive setting - amend it to 10 mis
