type msconfig in the run bar check startup tab and notice all the programs running disable all programs go to the services tab at the bottom check the box hide all microsoft that will bring a new window showing services running int backround uncheck them all restart and then try to print again. if this works you may start adding back a check at a time RESTART AFTER EACH CHECK MARK HAS BEEN RE ADDED (if you see something that you do not reconize leave it un checked) if after checking a box and restarting you have the same problem as before you have found your problem program leave it un checked un install the program restart the computer and reinstall the program

Are you trying to print a MSWorks database or spreadsheet in landscape on an HP printer? If so, think I've found a work around. I've been given the run around by HP and Microsoft on this problem, each blaming the other.

Yes, I've been trying to print. But I've had no luck at all. I've even followed the instructions to close all running programs. It just hasn't helped. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks!

peter go back in ms config in the startup like before and make sure any thing that is for your printer is checked do the same in services restart and check..if the printer is still not working properly.. uninstall the printer (start control panel add/remove programs find and uninstall all printer programs..) go to this url http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301 down load installer cleanup utility after installed on your computer open and look for any files that are left with the name of your printer make sure these are the correct files you wish to delete be very careful after you have completed this task restart and use your cd to reuinstall the printer program if for some reason you have lost the disk go the printer mfg site you will be able to locate the printer driver there IT MAY BE A GOOD IDEA TO CHECK THERE ANYWAY TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE NEWEST SOFTWAREIf this post helps to resolve your issue,Please click the Mark as Answer check mark on this page THANK YOU AND GOOD LUCK

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO DO AND EVERY TIME I TRY TO PRINT THIS "OUT OF MEMORY" MESSAGE COMES UP AND DOES NOT WANT TO GO AWAY. I HAVE USED THIS SETUP FOR YEARS AND NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM UNTIL NOW. DO YOU HAVE A SOLUTION I COULD TRY?
