Oracle Management Agent not delete object in Connector Space

Hi all,

I have an issue with the Oracle Database Management Agent, when i run a Full Import not detect deleted objects in the data source. When i search in the connector space the objects exists and are marked like connectors.

The management agent connect to an oracle view.

Someone has had the same error? any idea about the error?

Hi Nosh,

When a record is deleted from a Oracle Table and a Full Import Operation is ran, The Management Agent does not assign the object as deleted, because of this the object is still a connector in the Metaverse even if the object does not exist in the Data source

So, do you want the user deleted in MV when it is no longer in Oracle View?  If that is the case, you need to select the option "Delete metaverse object when connector is deleted in Oracle MA. This is done in Metaverse Designer.

If this is not the case, or you don't know how to do it, let me know

Hi Nosh,

Yes the object exists in the Metaverse , but the object also exists in the connector space of the Oracle Management, this is strange because the object does not exists in Oracle view. I ran full import, full sync but the object is not marked for deletion.

Daniel,

By chance do you have any import errors?   Are you able to do a Delta Sync after your error free Full Import?

Brad describes the obsoletion process here, which could be why the CS is out of sync with the Data Source.
