Optimizing Session Quality When Using Windows Remote Assistance
A friend of mine has a Vista laptop with a wireless broadband connection. Are there any specific steps he can take to ensure that when I provide remote assistance we get the best possible experience (ie, shutting down all apps in the background, changing his desktop resolution)? Thanks! Eric

In general providing an optimal connection is the best way to ensure smooth remote assistance. For example, you could propose your friend to connect to a wired network. There is no way to adjust connection settings for remote assistance. I assume it will choose specific settings according to available bandwith, just as RDP does.MCSA/MCTS/MCP
