I recently purchased a Dell mini and discoverd that my Microsoft Optical Mouse 3000 prevents Screen Saver to activate as well, any changes to the default Power Configurations. Any suggestions?

Could be there is some vibration that is enough to cause the mouse to notice.
Optical mice is a tad sensitive that way
MS mice do not tough power settings that I have ever noticed
I have a MS USB mouse and it works OK

Thks, this mouse worked well with another laptop prior to installing it on the mini, there were no issues. I did a search on the MS mouse 3000 compatibility issues with W7 Starter, there were no hits for W7.
