Open / Copy remote computer file super slow on Win7
A domain user is using win7 Pro and Endpoint_11.0.5_AllWin_EN(2009.9.21). Also disable Remote Differential Compression in Win 7 system too. When he tries to copy files from remote computer through VPN to his local computer, the right mouse click - copy is super slow and the program seems hang too. But when I do the same action on win XP computer. The procedure is very fast and smooth. What's happen? How can I fix? Is it related to Endpoint settings?? Please kindly help.

Hi, First, if you doubt that Endpoint is the source, you could disable the endpoint to check the result. Also, sometimes, we can update the network driver to solve the network problem. If the issue persists, try disabling Receive Window Auto-Tuning: 1. Go to Start and type cmd. 2. Right-click on cmd and select “Run as administrator”. 3. Type: netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled and press Enter. If you want to to re-enable it: Type: netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal and press Enter. Hope it helps. Regards, Alex ZhaoPlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
