Only had a small problem so far. I'm impressed.
I can honestly say I'm really enjoying Windows 7. I didn't expect it to be so trouble free. It really works as advertised. I expected it to be a warmed over Vista with the same problems but I was so wrong. Even the little changes are big to me like being able to see what's open when I move the mouse pointer over the shortcuts in the task bar and even be able to close one, two or all of the open tabs in Firefox and IE8. It seems they nay finally be listening to us. This is the first time I've ever used pre-release OS and I plan to do it next time they are working on a new OS. Kudos Microsoft.

Several shortcuts on my desktop and task bar have changed to look like I uninstalled the program. It's happening on Vista and 7. The time zone also changed on it's own.

This issue should be caused by icon cache corrupt. You can try to take following steps to troubleshoot similar issue next time. Rebuild the Icon Cache ================== 1. Boot the computer into Safe Mode. 2. Launch Task Manager using the CTRL+SHIFT+ESC. 3. In the Process tab, right-click on the Explorer.exe process and select End Process. 4. From the File menu of Task Manager, select New Task (Run) 5. Type CMD.EXE and press Enter. 6. In the Command Prompt window, run the commands one by one: CD /d %userprofile%\AppData\Local DEL IconCache.db /a 7. In Task Manager, click File, select New Task (Run) 8. Type EXPLORER.EXE and press Enter. 9. Restart the computer into Normal Mode. Thanks.
