Offline Folders - sync only current folder
My Offline Folders is working great, however there seems to be a significant change to the options available from XP. In XP, when I right-clicked and made available offline, an option was presented to choose either all sub-folders or just the current folder. This option is now gone with Vista? Does anyone know how to achieve this?

I don't recall that ability in Windows XP, so I went and checked. When I tried syncing a server folder that contains several subfolders from within Windows XP, the Offline Files wizard didn't offer any option to choose either all subfolders or just the current folder. In Vista, if you sync a server folder that contains subfolders, all the folders are synced with your computer so you can access the files when offline. It's simpler now than in Windows XP, with no need to launch a multi-screen wizard to set this up for a folder. Here are the instructions on how to do this in Vista: To be able to work with a file offline, you first need to make it available offline. Locate the network file or folder that you want to make available offline. Right-click the file or folder, and then click Always Available Offline. The next time you try to access this file or folder, you will be able to open it even if the network version is unavailable. For more information, click Start, then click Help and Support, and then search for the help topic titled "Working with network files when you are offline."
