Offline Folders - some problems I'm encountering
Hi, I have two problems with Offline Folders @ Vista Ultimate which I can't figure out: 1. When synchronizing to any network share that is available as an Offline Folder, there are several .TMP files in the network share after is has synched. I can repro this with multiple Vista installations, always the same. What causes this? 2. I have an issue where synchronization fails when a file that exists on both the local client and the network drive are existent. It doesn't happen all the time but most of the time... renaming the "newer" version on the client helps and the new file is synchronized to the file server. 3. I have set up a background wallpaper using Group Policies and set the folder where the wallpapers reside to "make available offline". Now, if my Notebook is offline and has NO network connection at all, the wallpaper is used from the local cache. If I have *ANY* network connection active (even if it's not my corporate network), the Wallpaper is not displayed. This is with Vista Ultimate, W2003 Domain and NAS file storage. I have "Change"-rights on NTFS on the share. Any thoughts? TIA benjamin
