Hi, We are using windows server 2003 as our server. The user previously had windows xp and offline files was set up for him with no issues. Now on his windows 7 machine, there is no option to use offline files. He is connected to the domain and the network and can access his hidden shared folders as well. We have tried enabling offline files through gpedit.msc for the machine as well as the user. The option does not show. We have tried enabling and disabling offline files, restarting the machine as well, to no avail. Logged on with different user profiles and still offline files are not available. The user however can still log on to any windows 2000 or xp machine and the offline files option shows up. i think it might be an issue of the windows 2003 server and windows 7, but dont know what needs to be done. Can anyone help me out?

Hi Novak, Theres no error message. When we right click on any of the network folders, the option make available offline isnt there. We have tried logging on the user from another machine running windows 7 and offline files work. Its just this machine with any user that has issues. We ran gpedit.msc and nothing is configured. It doesnt seem to be a server issue either because the user can log onto another machine and have offline files enabled with no issues.
