Offline Files not working when offline!
My notebook and main PC both have Windows 7 Professional. I have shared a number of folders, and set them to be Always Available Offline. They Sync OK, but when the notebook is offline, so are the files! I've reinstalled Windows 7 on the notebook, same problem. Any ideas?-- Nigel M

You can't see the files at all, or the shared location when you're offline?

You can't see the files at all, or the shared location when you're offline? I can see the offline files via the Sync Center when connected, but if I try to open an offline folder when offline I get a dialog box saying: "Offline Files The system cannot find the file specified". Strangely, one of the folders seems to work OK, but I can't see any difference to the way this one is configured.-- Nigel M

Hi, I cannot reproduce your issue. I successfully access my shared folder on notebook when it works offline. Please refer to this: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Working-with-network-files-when-you-are-offline Follow the guide to reset the files. UPDATE I think I have fixed it, via a kludge! It seems that if I map each of the folders to a Network Drive, then the files are available offline. This should not be necessary.-- Nigel M
