Offline Files fail to sync .ckpt folder
I am testing Windows 7 with a view to deployment. Users profile folders are redirected to a network share (using folder redirection group policy) and then synchronised using Offline Files for laptops. Shadow copy is also enabled so
users can restore previous versions from the file properties, creating a hidden .ckpt folder in their profile.
When using offline files, some machines fail to sync the .ckpt folder with an Access Denied error. I've spent a while searching but have been unable to find any information other than the .ckpt folder shouldn't be trying to sync. There's nothing
in the event viewer that helps. Is there anyway I can force offline files to exclude the .ckpt folder?

Hi,
You can click “Start”,
input “Managed offline files” in Search box and press Enter.
In the window of Offline Files, go to General and click “View your offline files”
Then you can manage offline files folder in it.

Hi,
The .ckpt folder doesn't show under "VIew Offline Files". Also, we don't "manage" the files as such. As part of folder redirection for the profile folders it automatically sets up offline files for all the folders redirected, the user
cannot change that. When it works the .ckpt folder should never be synchronised, but for some reason on some machines here Offline Files is trying to, and failing with "access denied". This is a hidden system folder that the user cannot see, even
when hide system files is unchecked.
