Offline Files Service wont start
Hi, A little info. A brand new Sony VAIO PC with Win 7 Home Premium x64, was updated via the Windows Anytime Upgrade to the Professional version. The Offline Files Service is listed but when trying to start it, it just goes for a bit and then it just gives an error stating that the file can not be found. "Windows could not start the Offline Files service on Local Computer. Error 3: The system cannot find the path specified." The Windows\csc folder is completly empty (No files). Can someone point me in the right direction. This is keeping me from indexing a network folder to use as an addition to the "My Documents" Library. I'm assuming something broke during the UPGRADE process, but I got no errors and like I said, it was a brand new out of box PC! THANKS in Advance!

Hi, You may try the following steps to open the Offline files feature. 1. Click the Start Menu. Then type Offline files in the search box. 2. Then Click the Manage Offline files in the search result. 3. Hit Enable Offline files. You can’t start the Offline files service via Service Manager.
