Office Professional Pro Plus and Lync

Hi,

I am struggling to find information regarding the full Lync client that comes with the Office Pro Plus package.

A number of machines in our workplace run Office Pro Plus and are currently running Lync with our in house Lync 2013 server, the rest of the machines have Office Home and Business and do not have Lync clients.

The business is in telecommunications and we are looking to integrate Lync into our Mitel PBX systems.

I believe from the information I have gathered that to give the machines access to Lync with PBX calling that I require 1 x Standard User CAL and 1 x Plus User CAL per user.

Is the Lync client packaged with Office Pro Plus equivalent to a Standard CAL, Enterprise CAL or Plus CAL ?

Any help greatly appreciated.

If you have purchased a particular entitlement, in the form of a particular CAL or stack of CALs, then you are permitted/licensed to use the features according to that entitlement.
If you haven't purchased the CAL entitlement for Plus or Ent features, then you mustn't use those features (even though there is nothing on the client software from preventin
