Hi there,

I'm keen to move all of my customers to EOP and have started a trial for a few of them in Office 365.  Once I activate the trial on Office 365 it says that the license is for 1 user and that to activate it, make sure I go to 'Users' and select 'Edit' to assign the license.

I follow these instructions and can see a greyed out 'Microsoft Office 365 Exchange Online Protection' heading which says '1 of 1 licenses available' but I cannot check the box.

Underneath, contradicting what it said when I activated the license is a message saying "This subscription does not require licenses to be individually assigned to users"

Any ideas?

These are all purely Office 365 Cloud customers, same problem for the three I've tried so far.
