Office2003 macro addins issue on windows7
Hello
We have created a macro in office2003.
when we run the addins it runs well on xp machine with office2007 as well as office2010.
But when the same file is copied to windows7 machine we are unable to run addins either on office2007 or office2010. we are getting the following error.
Cannot run the macro '<var>macroname</var>'. The macro may not be available in this workbook or all macros may be disabled.
Thanks

Here is an answer from techguy web site:
So your macros are in a specific workbook? And you close the workbook, with a
button on the QAT pointing to that macro, then when you click on it the macro
does not run? Or do you have the aforementioned workbook (containing) the macro
open? Is this something you want available all the time? If so, I suggest you
make it an add-in. And having an add-in with Excel 2007 will mean you want to
store it somewhere in a trusted location, meaning you should set the location of
the add-in as a trusted path. I generally use C:\WINDOWS\ADDINS, because it's
'stupid simple', which I need to make things for myself

Hi,
I resolved this issue. This issue is caused by msxml.dll. In windows7 machine this dll was missing. I copied this dll from xp machine and pasted in win7 machine. Mapped this dll using microsoft visual basic. Re-run the addins and it executed with no errors.
Thanks
