I can able to offer remote assistance from Windows7 to Windows xp using msra /offerra "WinXP_Computer_Name". This will bring me the windows XP Machine's Desktop without creating any password file. In the same way i want to bring Windows7 Machine's Desktop using Remote Assistance from Windows XP. Please give me a solution if anyone knows. Thanks in Advance NAGARAJ

The procedure is the same, if remote assistance is enabled on the windows "7" computer also. In the control panel, double click on the "system" tab, and choose the performance tab, then the remote tab, and check the advanced settings, to be sure they are correct."While there is NO SUCH THING as a WRONG QUESTION, the EASIEST THING TO GET in the world is a WRONG ANSWER!" 15 years of hands-on-how-to; I "DO" WINDOWS !!!

Have you lost your windows 7 password? Now, we'd commend you a professional Windows password recovery software— Windows Password Recovery Tool as your reference. Time: 5 Minute! Recommend: +++++ As an easy method to reset Windows 7 password , there are only four steps as follow: Step1: Download Windows Password Recovery Tool 3.0 and install it. Step2: Burn the ISO image file onto a USB flash drive. Step3: Boot up your Windows 7 PC by the bootable burned USB in minutes. Step4: Remove the forgot Windows 7 password on the operation interface and logon PC without password.Use Password Reset to find password.

Perhaps you didn't actually read the original post...He wants to connect REMOTELY to the computer that is running seven from the computer running XP, and do so in a manner that doesn't require a password...This is possible only if he is the administrator on both computers, and using the account named "administrator." otherwise, he would need to send the remote assistance invite from the computer running "7" to the computer with xp on it, and then he could do as he wished with it."While there is NO SUCH THING as a WRONG QUESTION, the EASIEST THING TO GET in the world is a WRONG ANSWER!" 15 years of hands-on-how-to; I "DO" WINDOWS !!!

Hi, Nagaraj ! I'm sorry you've been having so much trouble with this. I'm going to do a little research on this in the "7" forums to find the info you need to carry out the procedure, and I'll post back here as soon as I can. Should be within the hour. Thank you for your patience. Terry."While there is NO SUCH THING as a WRONG QUESTION, the EASIEST THING TO GET in the world is a WRONG ANSWER!" 15 years of hands-on-how-to; I "DO" WINDOWS !!!

Nagaraj- Sorry about the delay again, typing "remote assistance from 7 to xo" in the technet search engine has yielded 48 results, I'm having to go through them one by one so far, and though I'm at #12 already, I haven't found the info you need yet, but I will keep trying...Sorry !
