Hi, thank you for your responces. I should have mentioned that we are using Win 7 Enterprise and the OfferRA Group Policy setting has been enabled and the groups (with members) created. OfferRA works but the 'expert' needs to have administrative privileges over the 'target' PC. Seems a little flawed as many organisations will have other support groups that would benefit from Remote Control but that are not members of the IT department and do not have admin privileges. If there is a way of allow OfferRA (MSRA) without the 'expert' having local admin privileges this would be greatly received!

It would seem that users require the following additional permissions for Offerra to work: Access computer from the network & Also be a member of the Distributed COM Users group. It would have been *nice* if MS had documented this!

Hi, MSRA does not work for me on two computers that are both Windows 7 Home Premium based. I tried accessing them from an Ultimate Based PC Which does not work. I checked with a teammember of mine who also has two computers both Windows 7 Ultimate He s not having any issues at all. Is the Target PC a PC with Windows Home Premium installed ? Hi, hope someone can help / clarify what I suspect to be a slight flaw in MSRA. Is it the case that you can only complete RA if you are a member of the local administrator group of the target PC? If anyone knows of a solution (other than VNC) please let me know! Thank you. P.S. I have searched the forums and not found reference to this particular issue.
