Odd Windows 7 Pro Offline Files Behavior
I know there are similar instances of people having permission issues with Offline Folders in Windows 7 but my issue is with Windows 7 trying to synchronize offline files that live on a Windows 2000 Server DC. When I have Offline files turned off in Win7 everything is great. Then, I enable the feature and do my initial synchronization all without error. But, when I open a file in said folder that's now been made available offline and try to save that same file (either overwrite or new name) I get an error saying simply "Can't Save File". But, if I turn around and disable offline files and restart, all items function as expected. This is being done with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint documents.
