OUTLOOK EXPRESS/ INCOMING FINE/OUTGOING A PROBLEM
I want to use outlook express for a Go Daddy email address. The incoming works fine, but I am unable to get the outgoing to work correctly. I had a go daddy support tech try to help, but he was busy eating chips and not paying attention. Ive changed the smtp from 25 to 80 and to 3535 and it all fails....any ideas? The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was 'XXXXXX. Subject 'Re: ', Account: 'xxxx, Server: 'smtpout.secureserver.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '553 Sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts.', Port: 3535, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 553, Error Number: 0x800CCC792 people need an answerI do too

Check to make sure that the outgoing server name is correct. They should have the settings posted on the website under where you log on for mail. steve "Ozzy2203" wrote in message news:338962bf-9c0d-4a04-bc49-e6f1be892344...I want to use outlook express for a Go Daddy email address. I use a godaddy.com e-mail address. I have the SMTP port set to 80,and perhaps most important, you need to have the following checked:"My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication."
