OEM Upgrade from Vista-64 to Win7-32
If I buy a new Vista computer right now, I get a voucher for a free upgrade to Windows 7. The manufacturer only offers Vista-64 for this computer. When the Windows 7 arrives, will it have both 32 and 64 DVDs, or only the 64? If only the 64 DVD arrives, can it be exchanged or must I buy a retail Windows 7 32? Cheers, PW.

You would have to ask the manufacturer of the computer. Some OEMs are running their own fulfillment program. Some are going through a generic program set up by Microsoft. Be aware that you cannot upgrade from a 64 bit OS to a 32 bit OS. You could use an upgrade DVD but you would end up with a clean install. You would have to reinstall all your programs then restore a backup of your data. Because of this I suspect that you will receive a 64 bit version of Windows 7.
