ODBC permissions to modify Network Library Configuration
When configuring a Data source on a Windows 7 ODBC connection I am able to configure the whole DSN until I select Client Configuration and try to change the connection parameters and uncheck Dynamically determine port and then I recieve this error: "Your login account does not have the permissions required to make this operation. Consult your systems administrator to obtain the required permissions in your windows registry." Which key in the registry can I modify to grant domain users the ability to modify this setting?

Hi, The error information indicates that you dont have full permission to make that operation. You should make sure the login account has the administrator permission. If you are using domain account, please contact the domains IT tech to improve your domain account permission.Spencer TechNet Community Support
