NteContextList proper value
hi all, so i have this registry entry under: hkey_local_machine\system\currentcontrolset\services\tcpip\parameters\interfaces\interface{name of interface} Multi_String_SZ name: NteContextList i was wondering what is the proper value for this entry? would it be something like 3 3 3 3 ? so would this be the proper setting 0xFFFF ? coz i used the 0x00000004 (something like that i just got lost in the zeros lol) thanks in advance, RR

Why would you like to change the value? Based on above article, you can set the value to 0xFFFF since the value is proper in the range. However, it’s not recommended to change the value. T CP/IP uses this value to identify an IP address. If you delete this entry or change its contents, you might prevent this computer from operating on the network. Regards, Novak
