Hello,

I am trying to install Hyper-V from Control Panel-> Turn On or Off windows feature but it gives error:

The referenced assembly could not be found.

Error Code: 0x80073701

As I need this Hyper-V to run the Windows Phone Emulator from Visual Studio.

Also I have Enable VDT from BIOS.

My System Configuration is:

Model: HP Elitebook 840 G1

OS: Windows 8.1 Enterprise 64-Bit (6.3, build 9600)

RAM: 8 GB

Processor: intel Core i5 vPro

BIOS version: L71 Ver. 01.11

Direct X 11 installed.

 Please suggest a solution.

Try this:

• Click the Start button, type cmd in the search box, and then click cmd.exe.
• At the command prompt, type sfc/scannow, then press ENTER.

And see if it can repair Windows
