Not able to access previously accessed shared drives from Win7 box
Hey guys, well I have looked at all the different solutions for different scenarios: PLEASE HELP. We began implementing Win7 boxes and at first all worked fine, but this week we saw some updates come in and found that no Win7 boxes are now able to access the Win2003 server where we are all mapping our drives as means of NAS storage. OS X, Vista and XP platforms have seen no issues, only Win 7. I have tried all I saw on blogs, but please feel free to mention even the most basic of reasons why all of a sudden it wouldn´t map my drives anymore.... The error we get is basically the password not working (yes we verified them to be correct, worked in other OSs). It just keeps re-prompting to enter user and passwd

Hi, Can you manually access the network drive via Windows Explorer? At this stage, I suggest you try the following steps to troubleshoot the issue. 1. Perform a System Restore on the Windows 7 machine to an earlier point to check whether the drive can be mapped. 2. Temporarily turn off firewall. If the issue persists, please also refer to the following article: Windows 7 RC (Build 7100) and Addonics NAS Device If there is any error message, please capture and upload it. Thanks, Novak
